I need some feedback on entry fees. I was originally thinking $2, so that as many ppl as possible could participate. Many ppl think that's too low, and that more would be appropriate. I don't want to go above $5, but I would willing to do $5 if ppl would prefer $5 over $2.

Keep in mind that no one will be payed out in cash. It will be scrip of some sort. I will be paying out up to three spots, if there are enough ppl in on the season.

So, $5 or $2?

Hmm, how will the scrip thing work? I'd like to participate in this, but being in Seattle might make it kinda inconvenient to redeem scrip if it's based in Portland.

So here's my scrip idea...The winners will be receiving online gift certificates for their prizes. Probably through discgolfcenter.com. That way, anyone participating in the season from WA or SoOr or anywhere not in PDX will be able to use their scrip with great ease. discgolfcenter doesn't charge shipping either, and they are fast, so you'll get the most bang for your buck. I'll give PDX participants the option of Next Adventure gift certificates if they prefer that over discgolfcenter.

Also, all financial info will be publicly available. Everyone participating will be able to request a financial statement from me. There isn't going to be any overhead, so you'll basically just need to multiply the number of participants times the season fee to get the overall payout. But it will be public none-the-less.

Season lasts from The Great Nortwest(hehe) Open until the last B-Tier in October.

I thought about adding the FWO division, but that would be hard in regards to the rule that only allows the same player picked twice. I might add the FWO division if I do this again next year, but for this season I'm just trying to keep it as simple as possible. One MPO and one MA1.

I'm interested and have a feeling Crawdad would be as well. 5 bucks seems reasonable.

An interesting aspect, but you only get to pick yourself twice to win. What events are you SURE of winning?

Insider trading!!! Illegal gambling!!! Stroke shaving!!! I'm in on this dirty deed heh... But we are limited to MPO and MA1 for this season, i would propose Women's Open when there are more than 5 registered? just an idea... MA2 would be the hottest division to have picks for but guess not cool enough for the rest of ya...

On another note, I'd suggest only doing MP0 and perhaps FP0.

Who participates in a betting pool for minor league baseball, NFL Europe, or the NIT? Let's keep this in the big leagues, baby!

What about this ol' March Madness thing? I'm in favor of keeping MA1 in there, you get to keep an eye on the up n' comers, or the squattin' baggers, as it were.

MP0 and MA1

I'm sticking with MA1 because it adds a lot of variety to the mix. With the MPO, you can be fairly certain who will be in the top 5 at any given event. I feel the advanced division is much more chancy, and they are hopefully next year's MPO players anyhow.

Default registration is open!

The guys that run this forum were kind enough to give the Fantasy league it's own section, which you can find down in the "events" section.

Click this link to view the thread with the necessary bits about how to register and such. PLEASE read the whole document before registering, I don't want to have to re-answer questions all season long
