Wouldn't be any help during a PDGA sanctioned event tho. Cool idea in general, but doesn't seem worth the price unless you're throwing rare or very sentimental plastic.

i think this is just the beginning of this sort of tech. perhaps it will be built into discs in the future and each manufacturer will have thier own app for finding discs in the field.
i think if the size and price drops as technology tends to do, we should be seeing these more often in the future.
