Lakeview Par Three Golf Course is back in action for one night only!!! Bad Monkey Rising glo doubles will be held at Lakeview ball golf course this year. It will be set up in a 9 hole configuration to be played through twice each round. This course has been used before in the Stumptown Slosh series and is very fun golf experience. Registration will be up Friday 10/5 @4discgolf.com.

Will there be divisions? Like a women's division maybe?

There will be only one division. This is a low cost fun tournament with disc, dinner and beer provided in your entry fee. $40 per team and Disc golf in a unique setting? You really can't lose.

Winter time my friend. Not much chatter going on at all. This is a Fire Fly event. You can believe it will be excellent as all Fire Fly events are. It will be a fun time and well ran as usual. Team golf and another C-Tier are also happening that day, so people are spread out. Chatter seems to fade with the rain.

Gotcha thanks. we are excited to get a chance to play this event. We just have not heard anything about the teams or what to expect with this course. Fire fly does an awesome job with the naac so w had a feeling this would be a good time and would be fun. Hoping the weather will clear a little tho.

Is this event PDGA sanctioned, will there be day of registration available, and what type/style discs are available in the players pack. Also will you have beverages available for those people who do not drink? Thank you.

This a PDGA XC- Tier event. No round ratings and because it is a fundraiser the $10 non member fee is waived. Players Pak is a glow Roc. I don't drink either and I'm bringing my own beverage just to be safe. We would prefer that registration was completed online as it would guarantee you a spot and make it easier for us. If there are spots available we will take day of registration. The dice roll is on you at that point.

Here's the schedule for tomorrow's festivities.

3:00 - Check in
3:20 - Player's Meeting
3:30 - Round 1 Tee Off - 2x7=14 holes
5:30 - Dinner - Thanks to Bad Monkey Bikes!
6:30 - Player's Meeting
6:45 - Round 2 Tee Off - 2x7 14 holes
9:00 - Final Meeting - Course Open to anyone
11:00 Course Closed

We'll have glo Archon's for sale during check in and dinner. Hoverglow will also be there by dinner time to offer their LED solution for making your favorite non-glo disc light up.

Guests that wish to come and play after the final round can do so for a suggested $5 donation or free with the purchase of a Bad Monkey Rising Glo Disc for $10.

The first round is played as singles. Both player's scores will be averaged to determine your team's first round score. The second round will be played as traditional best throw doubles. If either player's disc lands in the basket from the tee it will be counted as an ace for the team. Teams should decide beforehand if they are going to split ace winnings or give it to the player that hit the ace. The ace pot will be rounded up to an even $25. If no one hits an ace the money will go to Bad Monkey Bikes to cover some of their costs for the night.

For those of you wanted a preview of the course, I'm attaching a rough diagram, however, course designers may make some changes tomorrow when setting things up.
