How come it's listed as 16 August on PDGA's site?

I can't find cottage grove on the course guide?
Am I missing it?
I was trying to google maps and compare the drives to CG and Trojan.
Then compare entries. Then decide.
No tape on the ground for OB? Is that a promise?!
Is the gimmick basket still there?
Tourney course map available?

Well Wes, I don't know where you live but here is some information on the course for you.

PDGA Course Directory

Disc Golf Course Review

** also, entries will be 25$ for all open divisions, and 20$ for all am.

By "no tape on the ground" i literally mean just that. A few years ago we held a tournament with tons of "tape" along fairways to add ob. This will not happen. We will, however, play all ob (pavement and over) as well as the triple mando on 10 that also has pavement ob.

the gimmick hole is still very much alive and kicking and will be used.

Tourney map will be up in the next week.

map of proposed layout. some tweakage may still happen. note the new fairways on the north east end, and one on the north central end.

Also, 3 holes have been doubled up and will play as par 5's and 4's, and hole 11 (regular hole 10) will have an extended fairway that will play par 4 as well.

Thanks Will and everyone who helped out, it was a fun day! I hope you will keep it a one-day C tier, because as you pointed out we need more of those. Having the North Regional Championships every year on a Grove super-layout would be a fun tradition. An event spilling over to the ball golf course would be fun too, but it sounds like a different event.

I wish we could get more MPM players, but if I could only play with one I couldn't ask for a better person to spend the day with than the Bear Wrestler, Bruce Sisson!

Also, I think that Matt Sime's pdga # is missing a 4 at the beginning. That is someone else's number. He did come all the way from Minnesota, so we should make sure he gets his points!

Thanks again to everyone, and see you at The Food Toss!
