Disc Golfers of the Northwest!
This May 3rd, 4th, and 5th, Portland, Oregon is hosting The Living Future 2012 Conference, a sustainability event that draws thousands of attendees from all over the Pacific Northwest. An exciting addition to the conference this year is a disc golf clinic and casual round of play at Pier Park in the St. Johns neighborhood on
Saturday May 5th. This gem of a disc golf course will provide casual disc golfers and first time players a way to improve their game while learning about the sustainable aspects of our beloved sport.
Clinic Director and Portland local Brice Lang, along with guest speakers and coaches will present on the fundamentals of the game, including instruction at stations for driving, approaching and putting. Players will then play one round of 18 holes on a closed course.
All players will get two Discraft golf discs, and a chance to win some cool shwag.
Of the first 20 people to register, one lucky person will be randomly selected to win a Discraft golf bag and four extra discs!
Price: $20/person (includes discs and a private course)
