Does the park dept have any people they could use? There name is on the new highbridge sign looking like they did all the work, no mention of SDGA? Why not see if they can do some design and landscape work with us?

Doesnt matter who we have to thank for it.

What you are talking about doing is a pretty big job. ("terracing without terraces and making steps that arent steps?") It cant be some rinky dink logs, rebar and small rocks. To do it right will require lots of time, work, equipment and materials. Is the city going to help pay for it? Will the SDGA be liable for any work that is done?

Default This project

This is all part of the work we asked the Parks Foundation to let us do . This is the project the SDGA will have $4800 plus to spend on. There about 5 or 6 sites at HB that we are working up details on. When the details are done Taylor(Park Opps) will approve or advise further and then we can begin. The Basic material list includes pressure treated timbers, 1/2" re-bar, gravel, fence post mix, 20p galv. nails and some soil stablizer to be named later. Digging will be required but we will try to keep our work above ground as much as possible. When we get started please come out and help. If you know a materials donor for any of the above please let us know. Thanks, Gordy,SDGA
