Well, like an idiot, I completely missed even entering the lottery and so there will be no mm1 for me this year. That being said I recognize a ton of names (many who would be very competitive) on the waitlist. I hope all my old friends (old being the operative word here) and all those whom I have enjoyed many rounds with get a chance to compete.

We will not be adding ANY more names to the Amateur Wait Lists... not even for women. We feel like we have gone above and beyond the call of duty for the ladies on this event, including take an entire extra card from MM1. We already have 100s of people on wait lists, and we feel like someone who wanted to play that badly should have signed up on their own when they had a chance.

If we have a number of women drop out of the event at this point, we will fill those cards with the two ladies on the wait list, but after that point we intend to fill the remaining the spots with the men who DID put their names in.

I hope you all understand.

As I mentioned earlier, we pulled a card from MM1 to add an additional women's card. Now, I know that probably pissed off a lot of guys, but the reality is this: There are 120 men in this event and only 24 women. Giving them ONE extra card is hardly unfair.
