Default Custom Disc Manufacturing

We are too excited to keep it a secret anymore!

We have pioneered a custom disc manufacturing processes that uses recycled plastic (water bottles, milk jugs, etc.) and a number nano-engineered particles to create a disc manufacturing process that can accurately create discs of targeted performance. On the face, it is quite simple. You simply pick the type of disc you want (Driver, Putter, etc), and then select the applicable Speed, Glide, Turn, and Fade characteristics of your dream disc and we deliver it to your doorstep.

The key to our manufacturing process is that we are able to create every imaginable disc with a very small number of molds. As you can imagine, this affords us to continuously run several production lines without having to stop to change production molds . A lot of our technology is still only covered under provisional patents so we cannot explain exactly how the process works, but our lawyers have allowed us to provide the following details:
The process starts with your order. Depending on the disc characteristics that you requested, our computerized mixer compiles a specific formula of recycled plastics (types 1-5 & 7) and a matching formula of our nano particles. Once mixed the nano particles react with the specific formula of plastics to form negatively charged ions. These negatively charged ions then bind with our nano-chains to form atomic gyroscopic spheres that get trapped in the inner layers of the plastic. The negative gyroscopic properties have shown to make the disc 37% lighter and have proven to slightly fight the effects of gravity giving you added distance with every throw. However, the key to our manufacturing process is the temperature of our mixing and curing stations. By increasing or decreasing the temperature of the mixing station, we can get more or less nano-chain reaction to alter the disc flight characteristics as needed. Then by changing the curing temperature after form stamping we can alter the attack angles of the disc mold which further allows us to alter the flight characteristics of the disc. When combined, these two processes create the disc of your dreams.
Before launching our custom disc solution we have a number of additional items to address. We underestimated the differing levels of ‘grippiness’ that disc golfers want in their disc so we are working hard to add this as a configurable feature of your disc. Also, hope to announce a major partnership once we finalize agreements to lease disc printing technology from a disc dying legend. This partnership will not only allow you to select the hone the flight of your disc, but it will also allow you to make it look however you want – directly from the manufacturer.

Stay tuned for more information…

And [fingers crossed] here's hoping they utilize the night shift cooling techniques to get those perfect "destroyers"!

Well, our custom disc service may not be real, but we do have our custom disc shirt factory up and running - become a walking trivia board as you proudly represent your favorite disc. Or maybe you'd rather show the disc you wish you could buy. The possibilities are endless when you build your own disc golf disc shirt - http://www.teamdiscjock.com/p/12/walking-disc.
