World's Biggest Disc Golf Weekend 2012 - West Sound Style!
It wouldn't be the first weekend in May without a West Sound version.
That's right, a full weekend of events on our Kitsap courses. Hosted in the spirit of the national Worlds Biggest Disc Golf Weekend, our West Sound version includes two days of fun filled events on our courses. All events are without entry costs to participate, and we encourage you to come join us for one, two, or all of them. No, we won't be doing the Millennium Worlds Biggest player packs, but we will have some great fundraiser plastic available at a great pricing if you like. We, as a club, made a commitment to make our Worlds Biggest Weekends fun-filled, no cost, great for new players, skilled players, as well as for any family members who might want to join us at the parks.
And we're going with a Polynesian theme for Saturday!
This year's line up:
9:00 am Saturday May 5th
N.A.D. park, Bremerton.
Tiki Doubles!
What's Tiki doubles? Well, its show up no-cost draw doubles. But with
Tiki Flair! 
Expect some trimmings to get the tropical flavor on the course. Invite a friend to play, and we can likely arrange for you to play together. If not, then you'll draw one there, right? It's even better if the partner is new to organized disc golf.
The morning round ends with a
Polynesian Ring of Fire! No prizes for the morning round based on scoring (we're keeping it to only be as competitive as you want to make it), but plenty of stuff happening with the event and the ring of fire will have a well stocked prize table to have plenty of smiles when we're done. Maybe this could be the best time ever to wear your favorite lucky putting Hawaiian shirt...
10:30 AM Saturday - Beginner Clinic with Scott Papa!
That's right, Discraft pro and general fan favorite Scott Papa leading a beginner clinic in the front part of NAD park during the morning session. We're stoked about this one. We're pushing this event in our promotions locally, so we're looking forward to a good turn out. Invite someone brand new to disc golf to attend this one.
2:00 PM Saturday - "Roc vs Buzzz" at NAD park.
This is where the Roc v Buzzz event fits into the weekend. Check out the Roc v Buzzz thread for all the details and the smack talk.
Sunday 9:00 am Fairgrounds DGC
Random doubles
This is our weekly Sunday morning event at Fairgrounds, so there's always a crew playing. Come join 'em!
Sunday 2 PM Fredericksen Wilderness Park - Poulsbo
Afternoon round to finish things off at the unique course that is Fredericksen Wilderness Park. Likely flip doubles or something as Fredericksen host Paul Davis decides. A good finish to a full wall to wall weekend of disc golf!
