Sure, usually the covered areas that are on cement were treated as OB, but I was feeling magnanimous at the time. If your disc gets kicked over there, just play it where it lies as that area is not TC during the winter and it's highly unlikely that anyone will be there.

We'll call that hole Bob's Paradise, just for you.

I drove by Trojan yesterday on my way to one of my Stores in St. Helen's. It did not look as bad as I thought it would. Granted I didn't get a really good look, but some of the other areas I drove by looked way worse. Have fun TDGers, and remember the Chick Flick will be at the finals with FRY BREAD! We are talking about maybe attending both days of the finals too. We will also have lots of awesome raffle prizes that we will be raffling off on Sunday, so don't forget to bring some extra cash for additional raffle tickets.

Griplock,
Giving it more thought, The Discrupters have decided to root for you on Sunday.
EOS snuck off with a tie against us and needs to lose this week.

I also encourage whoever plays Putt This to beat them- soundly. That way they'll be used to it when they face us at Adair.

I play on Sunday and have a portable Mach 5. I live in Garden Home near Washington Square.
Let me know if you (or somebody) wants to pick it up tonight. I may be able to deliver tonight to the eastside.

That would be the Preen Gowl Backers. Thanks for the support Wes! I hope your team loses too.

Changing team names is MY thing!

I don't like rooting against anyone, but Jordan makes us.

I think we might have enough Joe G. has one so anyone else that has one could you please bring it just in case. Im going to look at the course first thing when I get there and if it looks fine we will play the course as is. If it is bad we will go with the Jordan layout but from what I hear it is not that bad. Cant wait and everyone please drive safe and bring your lunch please.

Questions?

May we please have confirmation of these summarizations:

Item 1) Beyond ANY road or path or parking lot (assuming mando made) is safe, except hole 1 outside the fence, or in water. - please confirm

Item 2) ON all paths is safe, except while playing holes 3, 5, and 7. - please confirm

Item 3) "So, if I land ON the path while playing hole 3, 5, or 7, I am OB, but if I land BEYOND the path while playing holes 3, 5, or 7 I am SAFE?"

"Of course you are, see items 1 and 2 above" - please confirm

Yeah I didn't like the hole 1 wording either so I changed it on the scorecards. It is shorter to list what is in bounds than list all of the ways you are OB. So on hole 1 you are only IN BOUNDS if you are on the original hole 1 fairway or inside the fenced area. And as a sadistic add-on, anytime you land OB you go back to the drop zone. So if you drive the green and your putt sails OB you head over to the drop zone.

Other than that, outside the park itself, i.e. over the hwy or railroad tracks is OB. But you could throw over the entrance road on lots of holes (13-18) and assuming that you are on grass you are shooting from where it lies.

Yep! Hole 2 path is weak OB and I almost didn't use it on hole 5 since most times it doesn't come into play. hole 6 needs a safe way around the water and hole 8 has enough water OB already and we're not using the multiple cement pads as OB. hole 10 there are too many near the green. i go back and forth on hole 13 but decided to be nice. hole 17 i treated like hole 6, it needs a safe way around the water.

Yes, unless you are in the water as well as beyond the path. this isn't the ORDGC. and it is winter. Clear as mud now?

Default Stumptown Bag Tag and renewals stickers

Hey Sunday TDG'ers,

I just wanted to give you a heads up that I am bringing Stumptown Bag Tag's and renewal stickers to TDG on Sunday.

This is a perfect time to renew your membership (or join) and get one of the sweet new metal tags!! 1-10 are in gold and 11-100 are in silver. Remember you do have to be a current member to receive a 2012 tag. It is $10 for the membership and $20 bucks for the tag.

We need your support more than ever this year to grow and build our community. Stumptown is going to have a huge part in constructing and getting a new championship course in the ground at Blue Lake, and all proceeds from Stumptown go into funding work parties, new baskets, and course maintenance.

Thanks for your support!!
Eric
