Default Distance Drives

I am thinking about heading out to a field to throw some distance shots. I have a metering wheel that's pretty accurate. Anyone interested in finding out how far you actually throw?

I planning on leaving around 3:45-4:00.

Man Ryan, wish you were doing this Sunday, or I had seen it earlier. I would love to come screw around with you, maybe you can teach me a thing or two about that gross 360 you throw

Couldn't find a field that was flat and large enough near my place. The field I threw was terraced so I was throwing downhill a bit. I didn't bother measuring so I can't say what the farthest throw was. I did find something out though, I am WAY out of practice for distance throwing, haven't really practiced it since I moved up from SD. It was kind of comical trying to get the timing down on the spin.

There's a great field near Greenway with plenty of room.
Tell me next time you go because last time I went and measured was with Brody and 477 feet was my furthest throw.
Frustrating knowing I can throw 500.
Cheers Mat

I'll post it up again next time I head out. I'm thinking about it this weekend depending on the weather. Not sure what day, maybe Friday.

Just checked with Google Earth and the longest throw was approximately 620' with -25' of elevation.

I have no idea how accurate that is, but with the elevation it doesn't really matter. It went really far, and it was fun to watch.

Mat, do you know the name of the field you guys were throwing in?

No.
I think it was behind a middle school in that area.
Ask brody he should know.

I want to go with Ryan and Mat too, been a while since I've seen either one of you, let along tossed some plastic, even if it's not golf style.

Mat and I were throwing behind Conestoga Middle School. WAY more than enough room there on the upper soccer fields. School gets out at 3:40 there so don't go earlier than that.
