New basket locations - Van Zee Park

Van Zee park has two new basket locations:

The basket for Hole #1 was moved up the hill another thirty feet. The main reason for this is because the City requested that the long tee needed to be moved. The only good location for a new alternate tee was closer to the basket, so it provided a good reason to move the basket longer.

The basket for Hole #5 (old #6) was moved down the hill another twenty feet. This added some overall length and some increased risk in the putting circle.

Anyway, that is it for now. Come on out and check out the recent changes including the nine new concrete tee pads.

The basket for Hole #2 has been moved 50 feet to the right to accomodate the new basket location for Hole #3.

Hole #3 is going through a little transformation. The tee area is being moved to the bottom of the hill and the new Basket location will be up the hill and left of the old shelter. If you have ever played at Van Zee, then you know that the potential for discs thrown over the fence is too great for newer players and for experienced players with a bad tree kick.
