Default Bees on old hole #1 !!

I'm not sure what hole it is on the current two course layout, but it is the par 3 hole by the bottom parking lot right before the 1000 foot par 5. In the old days it was hole #1. Both my friend and I got stung today down by the big (oak?) tree in the middle of the fairway. He was on the far side of it and got nailed. I was to the left of the tree and got hit twice. The wierd thing was we didn't even hear any buzzing but there must be a nest somewhere around there. Wanted to give people a heads up.

Typically every summer a nest appears in that tree. Best thing you can do for all of us is let the Ranger's know before you leave the park. In the past they have been GREAT about removing bees.

Cool, thanks for the info. I didn't realize the rangers took care of stuff like that. Unfortunately I won't be back out there for probably two weeks. Maybe if some sees this and is headed out there they can relay the message.
