Default This is gonna be sweet

Nothing better then byop and we'll all see who's got the mojo by starting on hairy ol' seatac...I'll be there for my first try at this tournament thing, what do you call your team if one guy's a 25 year old gunslinger and the other is a wise 50+ year old?

Just a few days away !!! A few short announcements for the NW doubles this Saturday:
  1. Remember, first round at Seatac -- meet at tournament central by hole 8
  2. Second round will start an hour after all cards are turned in at Lakewood - worst drive format for pros only.
  3. Lakewood has undergone some minor redesign... Lots of OBs!
  4. This is a PDGA Sanctioned tournament, so all rules apply!
  5. IMPORTANT: Registration will be done on Saturday morning on a first come first serve basis. Maximum of 72 players (36 teams)! There will be NO 6somes.

Also, anyone still looking for a partner for the advance or pro field? Let me know and I'll put you in contact with a player.

This is gonna be a blast!

Format: Seatac DGC will be best shot doubles. Lakewood DGC will be worst drive doubles for pros, and best shot for all other divisions.

Is this still right or is it worst shot for all now at Lakewood?

That is correct. Just for Pros. I've edited my previous post to correct it.

Just wanted to make sure. I am in no condition to be playing worst shot. Toby would blame me forever if that were the case.

Thanks again for doing dubs.

Still ISO a partner for tomorrow's dubs... Going to get there early and find someone unless I hear otherwise on here! I've heard a few folks might be looking. I'll play advanced or pro...

Don't forget folks... SEATAC tomorrow morning! And this is an absolute rule that I WILL enforce: 72 MAX players!

Who will be the next NW doubles champions???

Thanks to everyone that came out. It really is a big support to keeping the Seatac baskets on the ground. We had raised ~$200 for the "Buy Back the 'Tac" Basket Fund.

Special thanks to Tim and Chuck who helped out in a BIG way You guys are awesome!!!

Thanks Sheila! I appreciate you running the event, it was a good day of golf!

Thanks Chainbangers and the crew! It was good to check out the new lakewood layout, and Seatac looks great. The work you guys are doing is showing in a big way!

Thank you Sheila for running such a smooth event. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits all day and the weather was kind enough to not unleash its fury on us.

Thanks to Adam and Keith from Chainbangerz for their continued support of our local dg scene. You two guys go above and beyond and it shows. Much appreciated and happy 2 year anniversary today!

Last, thanks to all the travelers who came to play, including guys from Bellingham, Olympia, and the westsound. It is always a pleasure getting to compete against some of the best players around the state!

Big thumbs up to Sheila T. for running the show and keeping everything on track. Thanks to the Chainbangerz group for tending the courses and keeping the spirit alive. Looking forward to next years summer series.

Looks like Bob and I tied for last scrip, but nobody realized it.

Lesson learned to always always double check the scoreboard at the end of the day even when you don't feel like you played good enough to win anything.

There's probably still time to fix that, since the team you tied with wasn't there to collect the scrip.

Yup, all four of you guys weren't there! This also means that all 4 of you will be splitting $36... $9 per person. If anyone knows how to get a hold of Miki and his partner, please let them know also that they have scrip waiting for them.
