No, these have a different sole design. Hopefully it retains the traction of the Milo II sole, without the delamination issues.

While not quite perfect yet, at least every Keen Disc Golf shoe has been an improvement over the previous shoe.

Smile Thanks KEEN!!

I got a pair of Dela's at Worlds and wore them all week during play. They fit great and have an awesome grip on all surfaces. I'm a pretty tough shoe critic and wouldn't have just tried them out because it was Worlds. I put them on the day we got our player's packs and they worked into my footprint in about 4 hours. I highly recommend you go out and get these shoes!!! Thanks KEEN!!!

I agree with Drew here, these shoes were given to all worlds participants this year, They have a rounder somewhat bigger toe box that fit me perfectly. the soles and sides of the shoes are one solid piece and the support is fantastic. The grip never failed me on the concrete, rubber mats, sand, grass, dirt, and even the iceplant. I used mine in the event and saw many players using them at worlds(which is unusual to use new gear in such high pressure contest). These shoes are winners!

Yay love my new KEEN Delaveagas comfy right out of the box. I wore them for a practice round, but like my Milo IIs they are a bit to warm for me to wear in hot weather. They will be awesome this fall and winter though.

they make my feet look fat.

... but they are comfy... i wore them for three rounds straight out the box... when will keen start making a shoe that emphasizes the petite and delicate nature of my feetsies???

I got mine yesterday but haven't had a chance to play in them yet. On the Keen website they suggest that these run about 1/2 size small, so I ordered 1/2 size larger than normal and for me they fit perfectly. I like the wide footbed because I have wide-ish feet. very comfortable for the few hours I walked around in them. I will report back after Worlds!
Good to know regarding ordering a half size up. Any word on how YOUR shoes are doing after Worlds Matt?

They are great and now I have two pair!

I brought them to Worlds not knowing if I wanted to play the tournament rounds in them but after wearing them for a few hours and walking a course in them I decided they were good to go. As mentioned by others they break in very quickly. I never really noticed them during my four rounds, which all in all is a good thing. Very comfortable, great grip.

One of my cardmates did have one of the raised tread parts delaminate on him during the round which was not encouraging and he was pretty pissed. Hopefully that will prove to be an anomaly.

The 1/2 size up thing worked perfectly for me.

The bottom is completely different on the new shoe. Its one piece for starters, but I also loved the bottom of the Milo II, and never had any real issues with it.

I had the same problem with mine. I jsut started to lace them a little looser than I normally would, and the problem went away. or you can just loosed the lace over the pressure point. great shoes though, i want to get the delaveaga's, they look amazing.

Not that I am attempting to push Keen's, but i've never been impressed with Solomons, they have all fallen apart quickly on me. Now the Northface Purgatories I fell in love with...then the discontinued them. Keen's are a durable shoe, and with the evolution of there products they are working on improvement. Keen is a big supporter of our sport and wants to improve the products they produce that target our sport, so if you have feedback and or concern thier are a few people on this board who are able to voice these issues to those that have helped design and evolve the shoes we have today.

The northface hedgehog low and mids are by far the most dominant disc golf shoe I have ever come across. The dela's look cool, but have a shallow sole for traction. I am not sure if I should save mine for when my 3 pair of northface shoes finally fail me or sell them... Ashton's dela's sole on the inside part started to seperate from the shoe after 2 rounds, which is exactly the same thing the milos had problems with... It's the wearer, not the shoe sometimes...

I really only expect a shoe to last me 1 season anyway. Like you said it can be the wearer. Like the toe drag thing. Just about any shoe I have used only lasts 1 season so next year I might try the northface. The best thing I have to say about the Milos is that they stay dry in super soggy situations.. I would reconsider Keen if they would sell the shoes at REI.

I've been wearing my North Face Hedgehogs (low) through two seasons of softball, and they're holding up great.

keep in mind, i bought all my 6 pair of hedgehogs at the northface outlet store in woodburn for $40-50 a pair that retail for $100-120... Have a new pair of mids ready for winter... All my shoes, regardless of the company, that have a vibram sole have gone the distance...

Long live the Vibram sole. I love Keens, but the Vibram sole is like no other! It tears me in multiple directions to choose...please Keen, utilize the wonderfulness that is the Vibram sole!

Having been a long time devotee of the Brooks Cascadia, I decided to branch out and give the Delavega's a try. I've got about 5 rounds on them and they are breaking in very nice. Very comfortable and very rugged. I suspected these would be better for winter and I have not been disappointed!

I will probably stick with the Brooks Cascadia for summer and wear the Keen Delavega's for winter golf. They are built very rugged like a low top boot. I also drag both toes (forehand / backhand) and have not seen the kind of damage I normally see on my Brooks Cascadia.

I'm not crazy about the color scheme, I liked the Milo colors better but I really don't wear disc golf shoes off the course so it really doesn't matter what they look like as long as they work.

i kinda do think it matters what they look like... and i think it matters if they're water proof... my delas are entirely un-waterproof and they are so funny looking that the two year olds i work with make fun of them (they have been relegated to the classroom as work shoes)...

... it's a bummer because i think it is great what keen does for the disc golf community... very generous and very supportive, but unfortunately i can't stand 100% behind the product...

... they are comfortable, tho...
