2011 Milo McIver Work Parties

I will be scheduling work parties about once or twice a month up until the BSF, which takes place at the end of June this year. We have much needed work to continue to improve and develop Milo McIver's Riverbend course "Gems" of disc golf!

Please show your support by volunteering!!

Course development only happens with the support of disc golfers. If you haven't participated in a work party, I encourage you to experience the grass roots effort!!

When: Saturday April 2nd
Time: 10am
Where: Milo Ranger Station

The plan:

1. I'd like a crew to make their way throughout the course cutting down the cans and bottles from trees as well as picking up any garbage.

2. I'd like another crew to make their way throughout the course collecting and making piles of tree branches from the wind storms this winter.

3. Another crew will be working on renovating BSF hole 13E teepad. Drainage issues and some landscaping.

i will be happy to take down some white trash chandeliers...I have been taking note of the offensive windchimes and shall deal with them.I just need that special tool,folding ladder and maybe someone to help....and

Cans and bottles were removed, tree limb debris picked up, and installed a french drain and retaining wall at BSF hole 13E.
