For all of you who don't know, the University of Oregon Disc golf team recently competed in the Collegiate Disc Golf Nationals in Augusta, Georgia and took home the national title! We beat 36 schools from across the country, being only one of 4 West coast schools to make it. Go ducks! It cost us quite a bit for 9 of us to fly across the country, but thanks to the generosity of the University of Oregon Club Sports Office we were able to fund our trip on credit. In order to get out of debt so that we can go back again next year and repeat, we are hosting a tournament on the UO campus. The course that we set up throughout the beautiful University of Oregon campus is for the beginner and the advanced player, with different divisions of skill and difficulty for the singles rounds. Details are as follows:
1 round of random flip best shot doubles starting @ 10am Saturday May 14th. $10/person with a cash payout.
1 round of singles starting @ 1pm Saturday May 14th. $15/person with a cash payout.
It is always a great time and always a fun course. Tournament central is in the heart of campus on the West side of the EMU. Can play either or both rounds.
