Sorry to express an opinion.
I thought the GNO was a major event worthy of world status.
You would have to be a current pdga member to go to the worlds.
Why not here.
Sorry to offend any good non pdga members by my thoughts for how special it is to get to play the GNO.
And being a current pdga member I'm glad I've qualified for the last 2 worlds that I've attended.
Thankfully they have ameteur divisions.
Otherwise I'd leave it to the Profesionals.
Which is the whole point.
Shouldn't a big event try to to get field the best players.

Man, if this is a gossip column how come there's never any good gossip?! You get more gossip in six holes at a tournament than you do here in a year!

For every person who posts here, there are probably 10 who come here to get the information that the TD's want them to get. And for every person who voices a complaint here there are probably another 20 here who vote with their dollars and are long time supporters of events and TD's.

I don't think the forum's the problem really - it's a great resource for the community as a whole, players and TD's, and it's provided free of charge.

I agree the idea of the forum as a way to hold discussions and disseminate information is a good one; however, the way it gets used by a few leaves much to be desired IMO. While most people seem to use it wisely and with respect, a few folks like to indulge in creating an overly hostile, and sometimes slanderous atmosphere. For me it's like throwing a turd in the punchbowl... it might have been REALLY good punch, but now it's ruined for me!

My research suggests the Internet has been corrupted since at least the mid 90's. Prior to that I can only speculate.

You all mean to tell me that not everything posted on the internet is true? Next thing you know someone will tell me the easter bunny isn't real either.

Smile GNO BABY!!

Hey Everyone,
Just got off the phone with Tom about the GNO. Yes it is happening. Yes there will be a rush to register. Yes we all know how fun this event is. Yes I will be going for my 3rd GNO win in a row hehehehehe

oh, BTW. Cary Trotter is coming from the great state of Nevada. He has some confidence at Whistler's as we have the Doubles Record of -14

Get off the computer and go do something fun today Like throwing plastic at metal

Default On Line Registration

Alright everyone, here's the skinny...

The plan is that on-line registration will go live on PDGA sign-up on Friday Feb 25th at 8:00 pm Pacific Time.

Please pass the word... I know not all disc golfers are reading the forum.

Does this mean there are no spots left to be claimed at the Stub OLE?

Hi Cindy. No it doesn't. The two pools of spots to claim are still separate until after the OLE at Stub, as explained in an earlier post.
