Out of Bounds and Mandos for May 14-15
Hole 7 to 8 has a white barrel about 270 down the fairway, Mando Left to 8 fairway. Drop zone in middle of 7 fairway.
Hole 14 is mando right of the big tree near 13B. RETEE
The water on 16 and 17 is out of bounds, play from last in bounds.
B – Fenced pool is out of bounds, play from last in bounds. Small fenced area where gas tank is not out of bounds, take 1 meter relief from where it crossed into this area.
C – double mando right of 2 trees in fairway. No dropzone, you must play around these mandos. Horseshoe pit is out of bounds, play from last in bounds.
D – Mando right of tree about 240 on left side of fairway. Drop zone next to this tree. No other out of bounds.
E – “Fake creek” is out of bounds and play from outside side of fake creek closest to teepad. If disc goes into river past the basket, play from last in bounds.
Example; tee off, skips into fake creek, touches the inbounds island and rolls back into fake creek. Take drop zone on outside of fake creek.
Tee off, goes into inbounds island and rolls into real santiam river, play from last in bounds on the island.
F – Mando right of first tree on left of fairway. River is OB.
Players on A and G need watch each other for crossing paths.

One reason I asked is because I signed up through pdga.com over a week ago and don't see my name on the list. I had a friend sign up last tuesday (3 or 4 days after me) and I see his name. Any chance you could check on that please Nathan, my name is David Moore and I'm playing advanced masters.

You are in, sorry about that, between the Deaf National Championships in 3 weeks and the Taloali tournament, which I am doing PDGA registration for both, had like 5 dave or davids sign up within 48 hours, missed yours, my bad, but you are there! Thanks for the follow up, all good. Bring more people! It's gonna be off the hook!

I'd love to bring more if more are interested. I'll be driving from Portland (and back) each day and I have room for 2 more players (or 3) if anyone needs a ride, just post here or pm me.

Let's git'er filled! Approaching 40 now, can't wait to pick up the trophies on wednesday. Work party at the camp today to clean all the fairways and woodchip everything. This will be among the best manicured forest courses in the NorthWest!
Will be moving the baskets to their 1st round placements today.

Baskets 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 have been moved to their 1st round placements.
1, 3, 7, 9, are not being used in the 1st round but will be in the 2nd round.
Holes A-E have their teepads and basket placements flagged, posted, and painted. E's island is flagged and painted with the drop zone. F and G will be done on Thursday. Temp Baskets will be put out on Friday around noon on the temp course and on 6C. 6C is straight back and you will see flags in the trees.

There will be discs for sale by at least myself where I have over 150 discs for sale. Plus some DDGA stuff like drifit shirts, towels, patches, stickers etc... I invited 1 other vendor trying to get his business off the ground. So bring extra cash to get some stuff for cheap!

Lunch will be served for real cheap, $1 hotdogs, $2 burgers etc, will take orders during checkin-registration

Are y'all ready?????????
Tee signs for the 1st round setup go in today... Manicuring being done today and tomorrow... 7 rubber teepads go on the 7 temp holes tomorrow afternoon around 2-4pm... The verbals are still rolling in strong for at the door registrations... let's hit 60 players people! Those advanced and advanced masters divisions look juicy!

You do not want to miss this! There are no courses in Oregon that you can have a bonfire, sleep in heated cabins less than 100 feet from the course, have shelter for bbq and meetings, a river to fish in on your off time less than 30 feet off the course and have HOT SHOWERS and and and.....

I echo Snap's encouragement - I can attest he puts on a top-notch event! I would totally be there to defend my title, if I were not already booked at the coast. Have a great tournament; it's guaranteed to be a fantastic time!

Quite a few players asking if there is still room, yes there is, last minute registration and check in is saturday morning 7-830 AM at Camp Taloali at the shelter on the main grounds near the cabins. There will be disc golf signs at the shelter to make it obvious. Lets break 60!

Too bad Gawain is missing this to defend his title in an even bigger division than last year. Oh and a much more FUNNNNNNN'er course! The pin placements for the course are INSANELY FUN and challenging for all levels of play! You wont find this at any other tournament in Oregon....

Had a professional "de-limber" climb up some trees and cut down limbs to beautify the holes plus open up some lanes to reduce the luck factor and increase the skill and accuracy factor. Yeahhhh!

Can't wait to play this course in new pin placements, and I never play more than 18 holes a round before! Good tune up for me before TX11 which is two weeks from now. Woot!

I had a lot of fun this weekend even though I didn't play too well on the 21 and 23 hole courses.

Thanks Nathan!

All I can say that Nathan did awesome job again. I am glad that I get to play the course with new pin placements which Nathan and his helpers changed each round. The pin placements were awesome especially basket 14 which is in the underground. I had fun meeting new people and I had fun playing with Connie and Deb. Thank you to the players for coming down, and Nathan's goal for fund raising is to build new playground at Camp Taloali which I thought it was a great idea since the playground is really outdated. I have to comment that if it wasn't for Disc Golf Depot, we will not have the tournaments to play at Camp Taloali so Thank You, Jerry Miller and Disc Golf Depot.
