Default lighten up

I used to carry 20 discs all the time but due to my work schedule and 2 kids i only get to play 3 times a month if i am lucky so i lightened it up. It seems to be workin out too.
Putter: my trusty 172 KC Aviar
Mids: Beat 180 KC Roc
Old pearly champ Gator 175
Drivers: Beat 10x Teebird 175
Beat destroyer 175
supa flat 175 Glow Champ Firebird

I can cover just about any shot with these discs, and its waay lighter. I am starting to understand why some people preach the less is more theory.

Okay this is from memory so...

Putt and Approach:
(2) KC Aviar
r-pro aviar (for approach shots both fore and back hand and tee shots up too 250')
Old Champ Gator
Crystal Buzzz

Drivers:
Eco Destroyer
Star Firebird
Champ Banshee
Glo Champ Eagle
Star Boss
Star Orc
CE FL
The Duxcaliber (green and yellow Xcaliber)
Star PD (the freak)
BEAT Star Wraith (rollers)

Experimental:
Opto River
FLX Buzzz

Big changes from 2010- NO ROCS... I've basically switched from teebirds to eagles... I put an orc back in the bag... I'm a lot more comfortable with mid range discs off the tee pad... I lost my most dependable firebird and have needed multiple discs to replace it

My game has really simplified during this last season, and improved as well. I throw a Predator or Force off the tee on most holes. Drone or Ringer if the hole is short or if I'm within 200'. I found that in any given tournament, these four discs make up 80% of shots I take.

I use Surges for turnovers and rollers, and Nukes for my farthest shots. The Nebula, Buzz and Hornet are for tight courses or days I have to rely on a backhand heavily.
I have seen the actual stats compiled in Excel. This dude does throw pred or force all. the. time!

After much practice, experimentation, and deliberation I think the Wahoo will make it into the tournament bag at least until something better comes along. I have also added a 167g Champion Valkyrie to the bag for downwind situations because spring is just around the corner and so is the wind

Same bag as '09.
With one exception.... Star Dart has replaced the Roc.
sacrilege I know, but that Capt. America Dart is my new pride and joy... ever since the Eugene Celebration last year. I KNOW that disc got me my first trophy in years.

Other than that...
4 T-Birds of various ages (rollers, hyzers and turnovers depending on age)
2 Wraiths (long and straight or sweeping annies)
2 Sidewinders (quick rights and any throw I'm afraid of going left)
2 aviars (the usual- though the Dart is taking on 80% of the putts now too)
1 boss (big hyzers or anywhere the BH "S" is needed

need only- T-Bird, Boss, SW, Dart, Wraith, Aviar. (And I'm not sure I need the aviars)

Latitude 64 has taken over my understable game driving the flow, rolling the vision, putting the spike. Discraft still rules my overstable slots though. Surge ss, avenger, force for the headwinds, flick for overhand shots. All Discraft mids. Esp buzz, z wasps, flx drone. Rarely use the drone.

So the ESP Comet is coming out. Flies wonderful but I like the Z version more. It seems I can put more snap on the Z and have it fly flatter for longer. The ESP Version seems to turn right, still flat, but stays right much longer. It'll go up on the wall of collectors items.

Just now waiting on two super rare gems to fall into my hands sometimes this week.

2010 Memorial Cryztal Z Focus (yummy)
Proto Z Ringer (thats right, Z Ringer)

That champ cobra is terrible Toby, you should just go right ahead and put that thing in my bag.

Nice double post btw.
