We use the W-L-T method of scoring, so a team that loses all but one match and ties that last one would have a record of 0-8-1. Which would be correct to be described as a donut OR winless...
Now you could interpret donut to mean zero MATCH POINTS, which would be a serious shutout
, but since it was followed up with winless I am pretty confident in my stance that a team could end up with a donut for the season.
