If this site had a calendar, that would be useful.

Stimpi, you do a great job on that Eastside calendar. When I get a moment, I will use it to update my calendar, too.

I keep the calendar at http://nwdiscgolf.info/ current.

I take you seriously Gawain.. and I take your game about as seriously as you do Miss ya buddy. Hopefully I sneak into the fling.. If your gonna make anything up this way this year The Farragut tourney is the one. Camping and 3 courses in one beautiful state park. It is so nice! One course is very similar to seatac, but I think it's better because there aren't any trees in the middle of the fairway.. it does feel like it sometimes though An awesome theme park too. Rollercoasters and a waterpark.

Default Can't go wrong

A trip to Farragut is always worth it for whatever the reason. This fall a good reason to go will be to attend the Farragut Open. This Oct. 8th & 9th the " Gut" Open will be the Inland Series Final and will be hosted by Jack and Scott Wardian. There may also be a giant ace pot there if no one hits one at LCO or The Country Cup at Four Mound. The ace pot money from the DRO has already been parlayed into this sequence......Support the Wardians at their (rumored two-day B tier) INWS Finals.

The date for the Farragut Open, which is the Inland North West Series Finals is Oct. 8 & 9, 2011.

This date has been locked in thanks to Scott & Jack Wardian.

Default September golf

I assumed the City cup would be in September, I was checking on it because I'll be in town ~8-19 Sept for 2 weddings. What's going on then. Who wants to play?

Montana St. Championships in Helena on the 17th-18th. Not exactly Spokane. Stimpi Ridge will be open if you want to come up here and play. ;-) Plus, I'll probably be having "weeklies".
If it happens, Flippen Z Disc would be on the previous weekend, the 10th-11th, in Wenatchee, but I don't think it's a go from what I've heard.

I thought MT St. Champ. was in Missoula this year? Could be wrong though, I'll look into it.

So Flippen isn't happening? The City Cup is now the Country Cup? Has the disc golf world gone mad?

Default Flyer for the 2011 Country Cup

The Flyer will be posted by this weekend. The registration form is included. It's not complicated but you will want to read it carefully. For example, the top two teams from the Friday random draw doubles will advance to a $25/hole singles skins round on Sat after lunch on the Final '10' layout. Tie breakers for advancement will be by sudden death.
This event promises at least $1000 cash added to the player generated portion of the total pro purse and a minimum 125% payout of the total amateur award purse.
Meals will be provide free of charge on Sunday after the regulation round. They will consist of hamburgers and bratwurst, salads and sides.
There will be new holes figured into the Jumanji layout and they will be available for play by Friday preceding the event.
This will be a championship event and your participation is encouraged. The INWS will honor the participation of any player in any division they are qualified for'.
Taking into account that this event is in mid July there may be severe smoking restrictions in place.
Your cooperation and participation are the only things that make this event possible so please bring your 'A' Game and your highest standards as well ; This will be fun.
Your Four Mound Hosts, Gordy and Jaymie.

I guess it doesn't take much to convince you guys the sky is falling. If you haven't been to the Flip you just plain don't get it.

Default The Saturday Skins @ the Spokane Country Cup

After talking with Gordy I now understand the Saturday Skins.

If you compete in the random draw doubles on Friday and place first or second, after any tie breakers, you are invited to compete in a skins round on the Final 10 Course on Saturday after the regulation round.

The Friday doubles purse will be paid out on Friday and the Skins will be sponsored by Four Mound Disc Golf Reserve.

There will be no charge for the four players that will be competing and the Skins will be played for $25 per hole for a total of $250.

I hope to see everyone at the doubles on Friday night and Thanks Gordy!!

The flyer/entry is attached to the bottom of this post for download and mail-in entries.

On-line registration will be available at PDGA sign-up in a few days.
