Exclamation Schedule change for week 6!!!

Since we do not have anyone that stepped up to take on the change of Timber we will not play that course a second time this year and instead we will go back to the original plan of playing North Bonneville.

Same days (Saturday 1/1/11 & Sunday 1/2/11) and same time (8 am Captains Set Lineups & 8:30 am Tee time) just a change of venue.

I saw the other thread and thought Mr. Lewis was kidding.
Now I'm not sure.

Seriously, though: I am looking forward to playing N Bonneville in the new design with tee pads. I have probably played 50x more rounds at Timber than at N Bonneville - everyone always holds their events at Timber (since PGE is so event-friendly), so I also have no need to play it twice in one season.

Eastside Crushers love it because most of my team has close to 2000 rounds at Timber.

Yeah, Keith... makes perfect sense. Why would you want to take your chances at a place you are so familiar with?

Sam love to play North Bonneville I have played about 40 times there but it does get old when you play the same course over and over like Timber. Besides Sam there is a better chance of you getting hit by a disc at N. Bonneville.

I'd love to include this course in TDG, hopefully next year. But the biggest problem with this course is the time it takes to play. Hopefully with some more play on that course the undergrowth will get beat down some more. We could add it as an early or late course to play when we have lots of daylight to get everybody through the course before it gets dark. But on one of the shortest weekends that we play, there would be no way to get everybody through the course 2 rounds in the daylight...

I am looking forward to playing my 3rd course for the first time during TDG this year.
Hornings, The Dalles and now all the way to Washington.
The Discrupters have never been beat in Washington, so we're looking forward to starting off the new year with a win over whoever our unlucky opponent is.
(Bring us cookies or we'll heckle you when you throw.)
