Default Turkey Throw Down. The Ace Chase is on.

Turkey Throw Down. The Ace Chase is on.
Sponsored by: Gateway Disc Sports.

November 28, 2010

This is going to be a fund raiser for the Hood River Disc Golf course. All profits will go into improving our little pitch and putt course. We may add two baskets to the course to make up for the short shots.

The format is play four rounds on our Ace layout and try to get as many aces and metal hits as you can. You will be throwing two shots at each hole, one with a Gateway Wizard and one with a Gateway Warlock. So it is kinda Wizards vs. Warlocks.

The cost is $20 and that gets you two discs and a mini. As well as the chance to win a Lightening DB-5 Basket. We will also be paying out 2nd and 3rd place as well and some prizes for a long putting contest. So come out on Sunday Nov. 28th after 10 am and throw your rounds and see how you do. As long as you are done by 4pm you can play at anytime between 10 and 3. I am sure I left out some details, hopefully they are covered in the flier attached below.

Thanks so much folks and happy huckin'!

This is no longer the case. We are only going to be throwing one shot at each hole, unless you want to buy mulligans. Sorry about the confusion. Hope to see some of you out there.

Awesome. I am getting really excited, we are getting a nice layer of snow down for the event, that should make things more interesting.

Sitting in shorts and a tshirt in SoCal right now, so I don't think I will make it. If you have any of those discs leftover, I'll donate for the discs. We play you next weekend at Pier. I recently lost the Wizard I just put back in my bag and would not mind a new one.

You got it D-Walk. I will bring any extras to OTG. Have a great time in So Cal, but be prepared 'cause Gorman has you in his sights for Pier.

Look forward to playing you guys next week.
