Down a few points but my rating detail does not show a bunch of tournaments I played in. Not quite sure what is up with that

Your rating does not encompass all your tournaments. Cue Chuck Kennedy in 5, 4, 3, 2, ...

It's not snowing yet in Minnesota so it might take Chuck a little longer to respond

Only two reasons, either the TD didn't enter your PDGA number in the results, or more likey, the TD didn't submit the tournament report to the PDGA before the deadline for that ratings update.

Or the tournaments he is referring to are over 2 years old, and he has more than x (what is it? 40?) rounds played since...

I thought I knew better too, Dave. I thought I knew better too. My apologies, I'll probably never question you again...

Jeff

PS: Dave, for what its worth... In spite of the fact that I keep neglecting to tell you in person, I want to thank you for everything you do for disc golf in the Willamette Valley. You're definitely one of the unsung heroes of the valley, and I suspect few people outside the valley really know how much you do for the sport. Thank you again.

No worries Jeff
I needed to get Scott's input on the report for the unfortunate incident that resulted in the DQ. This held the TD report up for a day or so. We got that added and finalized the report Wednesday night. Report was sent, fees paid and report processed and accepted by PDGA office on Thursday August 25th. So I was a little late (by my standards) with this one...

Dave Pittman is indeed the man! Every club would be lucky to have someone like Dave quietly doing all the work that make things run smoothly. Not to mention that he's the best disc czar in the world!

Ratings have been updated again. Up 1, but I may be heading back down after my two poopy rounds at the Eugene Celebration this past weekend.

... i don't know what you're complaining about... it only took me like 20 minutes to check my rating (stayed the freaking same) and look at the ratings for the eugene celebration...

... but i'm done looking now, so it might only take like 15 minutes if you check it right now...

I almost nailed it to a T. Back down - but only to 951, not 950. Close enough.

My rating stayed the same. I was hoping for a small bump from NAAC but it is not included. Next time I guess.

My rating went way down........I guess I need to play more and not worry about getting bee stung

With that said, can more tourneys have a rec division so I can play in a division that suits my rating?

Dang it, first time since I joined PDGA almost three years ago, my rating dropped 8 points. Now, my goal for 2012 is to reach 800!

I am sorry, since the PDGA decided to go with foolish names for the different divisions instead of just using ratings based divisions, no 'player' who is confident in playing a 'real' tourney wants to sign up for a division called 'Recreational'. Once they've made the decision to compete they don't want to be told by their division name that they don't take it seriously.

Besides, you should play up WAAAAY above the division that your rating qualifies you to play because SOOO many sub 900 rated players win the Advanced AM division every time. Or at least you'd THINK so based on the amount of those players that sign up for that division...

I am 100% behind splitting the AM field into 3 divisions based on skill, but they really shot themselves in the foot with how they implemented it. Where's that TreeLove signature when you need it...

Maybe rename the Rec division to Reb, short for Rebel (and "secretly" in honor of Rebecca), to add some pizzazz to it.
