What I do is print the design onto a regular sheet of paper, and then tape it to the top of the vinyl. Then I cut through the paper/vinyl. It's always worked well enough. I think there would probably be a better way of doing it, but I haven't looked into it.

@JET;
Thank you, He does look a *little* bit better without the bazongas.

Here are two more we just got done, my wife did the beavers logo, whilest I did the geometric cubes, on one of the sweetest white washed flight plates I found on ebay, looks cool, wish I hadnt cut it so close to the corners and could of avoided some minor bleeding. Thanks to everyone for the help thus far...

Well, since Carl decided to put his pride on the line and posts his early attempts at dye jobs I figured I'd do the same. Hopefully, you'll be able to see some improvement from my first (about 1 1/2 weeks ago) to now. Keep in mind these discs have been thrown quite a bit and look like crap to begin with. I'm trying to hone in a bit before I go messing up anything pretty.

This first one bled quite a bit. It's on a champ Boss

Next one of Ernesto "Che" turned out better, but I had a little trouble with the lettering.

I really regret getting in a hurry on this one, because it's the only one that I've used a new disc for. The stamp smeared, etc. Here's the Samurai.

The cuts on this STAR Gator came out pretty well, in my opinion. Sorry if this offends anyone. I call it "Unplanned Parenthood", but I'm pretty sure it's a Banksy.

This one just didn't come out very well and I should have scrapped it and tried again, but yeah. It's a Coyote...and it's REAL!

Okay, just got done with this one and I'm actually really happy with the way it turned out on a beat Monarch.

There they are and hopefully many more to come. Thanks Chuck for the inspiration and tutorials.

Here are two more that have occupied the last two nights, the chain seeker was my first attempt at dyeing non Star or Champion plastic and it shows, they just aren't very vibrant, and I let it sit for 5 hours. But hey at least it is not a plain avair X anymore. The Black with pink, was done on my first and only legit ace disc. I hated throwing a pink disc, but now it should find its way back into my regular weapons. Thanks again to all of those who have offered help, especially tim and chuck for their awesome videos, that really got me started, I am now addicted!

Got one done tonight. Its a remake of one I already did for someone who lost it at Hornings and has been crying ever since. It was Jet's idea to make one for him, and she picked up the disc. The art is mine though, and my first attempt at the whole color fading thing. not too bad, I guess?

I love it and think it's even better than the original. Sweet!

All right, I'll post something classy to make up for Carl's extreme lack there of. Here's Monroe playing a Flying V.

Whilest Scotty was hijacking my OSDA user account, I was busy creating my first dye with absolutly no bleeding. Remember life is a series of small victories. Anyways here it is, I was going to just do perfect circles, but this proved harder than I thought, so I free handed some funky shapes and overall I am happy with the finished product... Carlitos Out~

I was going ot mention that about ten minutes after I began cutting out my non perfect circles, my buddy Scotty showed up with this Exacto Compass...

It made quite a difference and I would reccomend this to anyone who wants make perfect circles. Supposedly it comes with a small cork that you can use to stop it from ripping the vinyl at the contact point. Sweet ass.

I got the idea by searching google images for optical illusions and found the dye I did but with circles everywhere, Ithought it was cool so I started to do it, but free hand circles suck, so I had to fix them and the only way was to add some detail to the non perfect circles, then I threw in some squigglies to fill the empty space. I am gonna do another one very soon with slimmer lines and really take my time I think it should turn out even more trippy. Thanks
