Those links are great, but dont count on them completely to make you an expert dye artist. There is big chance that even following those that you could screw up a few dyes before you get it right. I know I screwed up quite a few, but look at what I am doing now!!!

Hey Garrett,

those videos and Gwillims tutorial are some of the best instructions you can get. with that being said, since i live just south of you in olympia if you have any questions or want some in person tips and tricks just let me know. i am sure we could get together and play a round and go over some dye stuff.

looking forward to seeing some of you dyes!

I completely expect to screw up a few before I actually get a good one. Like anything, it takes practice. In fact, I'll jack my both my boy's discs and start with thiers, so their discs will look like crap and by the time I get to mine, I'll have it down and mine will rock. ;-)

In fact, speaking of the boys.... * heads down stairs to kick their asses out of bed, cuz Pops really needs to play a round before the DT's kick in here *

If you dye a disc with the stamp still on it, and then remove the stamp after you dye the disc will the stamp be sufficent enough to hold off the dye and leave the stamp imprint?

Yes, however the acetone will also smear your dye if it isnt 100% completly dry and cured. So be patient & careful!

How 'bout putting up more dyes (since I finally got DSL).

Trozzle,

you should do a picture of the short bus and have all of their faces in the windows! they are all dead now, so i am sure they wont mind being on the short bus! maybe micheal jackson could be the driver.

.......But where would they be going?????

169 Opto Striker

It has been a while since I last held an xacto, but I'm sure the fingers will remember how to do it after a few warm-up dyes.
