Awesome! I dressed up as Spaceman Spiff one year for Halloween, unfortunately, even less people got that than my Tim the Enchanter costume. Stupid quasi-obscure references...screw it, I'm dressing up as a vampire next time!

Here is another I did this weekend. This one took quite a bit of time.

Champion Boss
"One ring to rule them all, One ring to find them; One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them."

A detail view:

Sorry for the poor photo quality.

I had the idea to do this dye for over a year, but I was going to change it to "One disc to rule them all, one disc..." etc in the tengwar script, but I never could figure out the translation of "disc" into black speech. After a full year, I figured I might as well give up and just dye it with the original text.

The orange and yellow background actually looked more brownish for some reason in person, so I decided to "fix it." As usual, that was a bad idea:

Changing the orange to red introduced a lot of bleeding.

Even with all the "uglies" and sloppiness, they actually look quite good in person. Either that or I just have extremely low standards.
Calvin and Hobbes is the BEST EVER! Nice work Ken!

If Ken wont do it, I will give it a shot, but it would be quite awhile until I could get to it.

Nice work Trozzle, I remember witnessing that exact groove right out of your hand on a forehand chain smasher!

Yes, that is the same disc!!! The dye itself kinda sucks. I had to rush it so I could throw it again. The idea is good, just didnt turn out that great in my opinion.

Still has the ace signatures on it, dont worry In fact, thats your sig right there in the pic

The next event I am planning on playing is the BSF. I am taking time from playing so I can dye all these tourney discs that I am dying. I have 4 to do for the 3 headed Monster tourney and 12 so far for the DEAF tourney. plus I have a few ideas for my own discs, plus a disc for a top touring pro player

One year I went to Howliewood dressed as Jek Porkins aka Red Six from Star Wars. Talk about your obscure characters... Of course it did help that I was with a large group of others dressed as the more 'famous' characters...

PS The Calvin disc ROCKS!

Unfortunately, I don't have the time or inclination to do many dye jobs, so I can't offer my services for other people (especially after the amount of time it took to cut out the LOTR "One Disc").

Fortunately, there are plenty of talented people that are way better than I am anyway.

Default Couple new Dyes!

So I have finally figured out what to do with all those late nights taking care of my 17 day old baby girl. When she actually does sleep that is. I went to Corvallis a couple of days a go and bought a super gummy, very champion like, STAR Boss, and I won this Groove a few weeks ago at the Daylight Savings Tourney. Enjoy, Hope to see you all Sunday for April Fools Dubs!
