Default Third Annual Stumptown Slosh Series

Thats right we're heading back out in to the elements to provide you with yet another year of ceaseless downpours, howling winds and awesome disc golf! All events will be PDGA sanctioned C-Tier events.

The tentative schedule is:

Slosh #1: 11/13/10 (Saturday) Hornings Hideout

REGISTRATION

REGISTERED PLAYERS

Slosh #2: 12/19/10 (Sunday)
Slosh #3: 01/08/11 (Saturday)
Slosh #4: 02/20/10 (Sunday)

I will be posting the locations for each event shortly, but I wanted to get these dates out there. I made an concerted effort to ensure we did not conflict with Team Golf or with the long running Rockwood Winter Series, so those of you playing in those series will have no problems doing both!

I'll keep you posted on any changes here in this thread.

Jeff

Is the course list solidified yet? Any chance there will be a tourney at Dabney? I like that course and have never played a tourney there...

Stumptown Slosh Series #1 will be held on Saturday, November 13th at Horning's Hideout.

We will be playing the canyon course with the possibility of the open division playing a round up on the Meadow Ridge.

We will have registration up on the Stumptown Store shortly.

They are open to everyone but because we secure our insurance through the registering of the event with the PDGA you will have to pay an additional $10.00 fee to the PDGA if you are not a member. Actually you will pay this fee to Stumptown and they will make the payment to the PDGA and pass on all your information to the PDGA.

These events are fun and a great way to get some tournament exposure on a lower scale. They are single day events so they do not consume your entire weekend. If you are a competitive player or a casual player these events have a little bit for everyone.

Default MA3 & MA4?

Why no Rec and Novice divisions?
They were offered last year.

This is always a tough call, but from a TDs perspective I would much rather see 3 divisions with 7 people each than 5 divisions 4 people each.

There are 3 divisions available for amateur men: MA1, MA2 and MM1.

Default fee for all

I may have read it wrong, but it appears that all fees are the same.
If so, for the sake of discussion only, I was curious as to why.
