Default Course changes at Steilly

So I finally got to venture out to Steilacoom to see some of the new changes to the course. Playing a round with Chase, I got to play the 4 new NW holes, as well as a plethora of new positions on older holes. It seems like the TDGC finally has a coherent and comprehensive plan for future work at Steilly, and all the work that's already done is absolutely tremendous.

I was interested in hearing the thoughts of others on the new course look, from what I've heard there will soon be completely separate NW, SE and Am courses that will all stand on their own. And i can certainly vouch that the NW course is going to be at least 4-5 strokes harder in relation to 3 pars than previously.

Thoughts, comments??

It saddens me a bit that there is no discussion on the new Steilly changes, I should really get out there and push the site more. No response from Mazza, Chase??

Some of the changes I felt were unnecessary (NW 7). Only time will tell once fairways become more defined. I do like the leadership and dedication of the TDGC (PCDGC?) Some holes I think will end up being nice though.

No question NW is AT LEAST 5 strokes harder.

No question, I'd probably agree with the guess of 5 strokes more difficult, even for advanced or pro players. The only changes that I wasn't a huge fan of were the new road hole and the new position on NW 7. Unfortunately the course has definitely become a bit more of a bombers course.
