Is this the real deal? $28.75 for sign up seems a little strange.
Shavonne,
why not just use the PDGA reg site? At least we know it works.

That's the lowest price it can be: Recreational, no ace pot, with processing fee.

I wasn't referencing how low the price was, just how unusual it was. That sign up link just seemed like it was not exactly the right place to go. Can anyone confirm or deny that it is the official place to sign up?

I can't 100% confirm, but I don't think it is officially up yet. I sent Shavonne a text, and I am sure when she gets the chance she will be on here with an update.

I signed up (prior to the downtime) and paid $28.75 and my name is on the pdga list, confirmed by Shavonne awhile ago. If that's any help...

I think it's $25 plus some processing fee.

Sorry everyone, it's been a busy week.

Mike has informed me that he is still waiting on one last part for the online sign ups to actually work. In the meantime I am checking with PDGA to see how fast they can get something up for me. Mike has posted the registration form on the website, so you can still go that route.

The lowest price is $25 for Rec, with the rest being the processing fee.

I hope that answers all of your questions. Thank you for your patience, and hopefully we'll get something working soon!

Thanks!

Bad Monkey Bikes ROCKS!! They donated a bunch of Bad Monkey gear to the Hope Open. There will now be pro-D challengers, soft magnets & soft focuses, and several Bad Monkey T-shirts. These guys are big supporters of disc golf & the Hope Open, so if you have any bike or skate needs go see them.

Shavonne, I can’t begin to explain how much I have appreciated your patience. I had a very difficult time figuring out a few of the problems I was encountering, but Northwest Sign-Ups is back on track and ready to provide you with excellent customer service in the future.

At an event up north (Howliewood) and through a few people I know that have been fighting the cancer fight, I will be attempting to raise an additional $200 - $400 for the American Cancer Society. It will be a serious effort, but it is a goal not a guarantee. The money raised will be delivered to Shavonne in order to be added to the overall ACS donation in the name of the Hope Open.

Online registration for the Halloween Dubs is up and running. The site functions well; the cosmetics still need a little work. All the old links on this forum thread are to the Hope Open’s original purchase page, so if you use one of those it won’t look like things are up. Just go to the home page or use this new link. I have also added a link on Northwest Sign-Ups to the PDGA registration page in order to reduce as much confusion as possible.

I am so sorry about all this and once again, THANK YOU, for your patience and not lynching me.

Mike Rideout

My son in-law lost his mother today from cancer! My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. We HAVE to fight this disease and right now the best thing we can do is help to find money to aid in the research. Let's make things as difficult as we can on Shavonne and over fill this event. If you can't play buy a tee sign, donate $5 or $10. Lets make a difference!

I haven't heard back from snap, so I'm still looking for a ride back from Corvallis to Monmouth.

Thanks again in advance.

I'm pretty sure it bring your own. There are places pretty close to the park to buy food also.

And the course is right next to the river, so there are lots of grubs in the rotting vegetation on the riverbank. All you can eat. Free.
