I got number six at Ferguson Park in Snohomish today with a 166g Discraft Glide. The hole is only 84 feet long and was my second on this hole, with a nice little hyzer around the leaning tree branches. The shot right before it on hole five I hit it dead center of the chains and it bounced out, that was with my Discraft Wasp. I also hit the basket on hole number two shooting through a very tight fairway, the toughest ace on the course, also with my Glide.

Eighty-four foot hole. That's a long putt.

Exactly.

Nothing at Fergie is should really be counted as an ace, the holes just arent long enough.
Maybe 8, because its a blind up and over shot, but the rest should be counted as " field birdies "

It's an official course, it was the first throw, it went in the basket. That is an ace.

Yes of course it's an ace. An eighty four foot ace.

If you measure the other line, it's 84 feet short of 24,000 miles.

A " Jackace"

I tried to get a jump-putt ace on that hole, but missed.

I think it's hard to set a specific distance onto what constitute an ace, 200' in a heavily wooded area is nothing like 200' in a field. I would certainly count Rockwood hole 5 as a legitimate ace.

Aced hole 10 at the Nanook Open today. There wasn't an acepot, but I got $3.30 from a few folks. I got the 30 cents from Pinkal. A few more cents and I'll have enough for his mom.

I heard there was an ace pot, or I would have thrown down some cash to you man, sorry about that! And I'm glad that stuck, I watched the drive from 13's pad

Same here. I don't have a long drive or throw that well either. I've never hit an ace and I've been playing about 4 years. I would be delighted to hit ANY ace, regardless of distance.

And what about the ladies, my wife has a maximum drive of about 150' (and she still will play courses like Hagg and Dabney) so an 84' ace would be her mid-range and an awesome ace.

Congrats on your ace ! Don't let them take it away from you.

I aced #5 at cottage grove with a huge hyzer bomb. It was my first ace at cottage grove. I used a 171 Champion Banshee. I got it during a $1-$1-$1 round and got $5 each from the other 3 people in my group, so I ended up making $17 on the day. Not too bad for 1 shot:-)
