It doesn't appear to utilize the space above the discs - except for a sweater or something like that, but then it would be in the way...

Depends on what kind of a deal you're getting on it. My buddy had one of those and it lasted a while but eventually fell apart. And yeah, like Kris said, it didn't utilize the above space. If you're getting a sweet deal on it, I say go for it. If it's anywhere around $100 though, I'd spring a little extra for the Revo Dual Pack Lite.
