Default Amnesia Open at North Bonneville on June 19th

First tourney of the year in North Bonn. This is a fund raiser for our concrete tee pads. We'll have beer courtesy of Amnesia Brewing and some sweet prizes.

We'll have 2 rounds with a break in between. 1st round from 10am to noon, break from noon to 1pm & then round 2. Limited, intermediate & advanced divisions.

Come out & have a great day in the gorge.

Entry fee is $15 for all divisions. No preregistration, just show up a little early to sign up.

Amateur, casual, beginner, not that good yet, take your pick.

We're stepping up a bit from the traditional North Bonneville categories Pretty Good & Really Good.

Come out & help us out.

Talked to Jerry Miller today and he is going to bring the Disc Golf Depot trailer!! Jerry has supported our efforts every time we ask. So a huge thank you and shout out to Disc Golf Depot and all the unsung work they do for this sport and its community! This event will follow in the tradition of our past ones. . . A whole lot of fun, great golf, great people and laid back. Hope to see many people there so the tee pads can become a reality.

Also a huge debt of gratitude goes out to Amnesia Brewing. They have donated the beer to be sold at the tournament and 100% of the money made goes to the tee pad fund! Its awesome to find a business that is willing to do this at their expense and time. Remember this is not a PDGA competition so although it will be competitive it will have a laid back vibe.

Hoping to make it back over for the tourney. I had a job interview in Stevenson last weekend and stopped by to check out the course on my way to Portalnd to visit family.. If I take the job, I am looking forward to making N. Bonniville my home course. Currently live in Spokane WA and play at Down River and High Bridge and make a weekly commute to Post Falls ID to play Corbin and to CDA to play Cherry Hill.

The plan is if we have enough women then I will make a division for them. I would love to have a lot of women show up to this event and others in the future.

Bump...Shady Oaks is a fun DG course, and it really deserves some good pads! Come out, play the Tourney and help support our N Bonneville DG'er friends at this cool course...

A huge thank you to everyone who was able to make it to this fundraiser event!! 64 competitors!! Sold out of beer. Sold out of food. And raised close to $1600 for the tee pads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a massive show of support from the disc golf community. I cannot thank you guys enough. This was my first event as a TD and you guys were an outstanding group of positive people who came out to have fun and play some golf. I hope everyone had a great time and I look forward to many more fun relaxed events at our course.

Default Great Job...

It was a fun, casual event with good money raised. I certainly tried to donate as much to the beer fund as possible. AND, the beer was good. I will thank the guys at Amnesia next time I am in there.
