Calling All Disc Golfers:
NIRDG Club meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday, March 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Post Falls Public Library. We will elect Club Officers, order Club CFR discs and Bag Tags, and make plans for Corbin Park DGC changes.
Candidates for Officers at this point are
President: Kevin Locke or Dan Gibbs
Vice-President: Scott Wardian
Secretary: J.P. Crouch
Treasurer: Jack Wardian
Voting can be done by absentee ballot as long as you are a paid Club Member. Contact Jack at Rapid Fire for membership and/or absentee ballot. Memberships can also be purchased at the meeting.
Scott and I presented the City of Post Falls Recreation Department with a check for $1,700 today for the donation from the Corbin Ice Bowl last month, and we dropped off 230 lbs of food at the PF Food Bank. Great job, Scott, on running your first tournament!
We also sat down with Dave Fair and discussed the Club proposal to Corbin. He is agreeable to our proposal to go to the seasonal course this year, and as part of that, expand the course to 18 holes during the off-season (with a few minor adjustments). We as a Club need to give him some specific locations for the new holes to get them approved for installation right away. We could have an 18 hole course to play up until Memorial Day, if we get on the ball. Come to the meeting to help with these plans. We could be ordering some new baskets next week!
