Default Play It Again Sports in NE Portland: going out of business, 30% off

I just got an e-mail from a friend who says the Play It Again Sports at 10355 NE Halsey is shutting their doors at the end of the month, and all discs are 30% off.

Cool

Guess they can't make a run of it by reselling stolen plastic...

I shed no tear for them.

Of full arithmetic and prudence fair,
Attending to our noble bond and contract?
Or does here stand the last remaining man
To give a fig for rules and order yet,
No noble savage, but a stave unbroken
Who loves the law and bids it no misdeed.
I’ll not be bent to lawlessness. Mark it nought, if we be men of honour.

I was out there today... sounds like the owner is retiring. I picked up an $80 softball bat for $32, and was sorely tempted by the $200 bat for $80.

Anyway, the disc selection isn't huge, but it's not bad. Some Innova, some Discraft, some Quest. (If you like ESP or Z Forces, they had several of them in some nice bright colors.) All ESP discs are $11.19 with the discount, Z are $10.49.

Lots of star plastic in common weights. Picked up a 160 Star Teebird for $12.50.
