The schedule is still yet to be finalized for the series, and Cool Shoez and Jet Wash will be independent of the State Series. We're hoping to be able to have SeaTac in the series, but nothing definitive as of yet. In any case, I'd encourage you to make the trip for at least one of the events, it's definitely one of the best courses in the state.

Why? There will be two quality events at SeaTac this season. + the payout will be better because their will be no extra drain of cash for series fees, less to the pDGA in fees. When less fees go out that means more cash to payout.

^^^^^^im just pro wash. series, thats why. I like the idea of a series, and think it should have all the premier tournaments.

Then your really not going to like no Aloha Sushi Classic at all this year. Or a Stellicoom series event either. But it will be "new"

They're not in it either??? If this is true that blows! I never said I didn't like the jet wash though. I love that tournament either way and just wish it was part of the series, or any series.

Jet wash kicks ass as a series event but I'm sure it will still kick my ass as a non series event.

WA State Series rotation

March No event
April 17-18 Windy River (Originally in Mid March)
May 2nd weekend Kitsap Courses
June 5-6 LCO
July 24-25 Lamewood (Originally in late June)
August 14-15 Stelli
Sept 4-6 White River
Sept 25-26 Final Spokane

Now this is all good except the Stellicoom event is the weekend before Jet Wash.

As somone who was at the time involved with the Series planning "...because JWO was not going to be part of the series it would have at least a two week buffer before any other series event". Mike was elected Coord. by one vote (Guys) with this stipulation.

Now the series is recanting that position by stuffing 3 events in 6 weeks. Stelli could easly be played in March, late June. Oh, thats right! Mike is running FSO so he wants golfers jones-ing for play. Thats why the extended time frame. Clever Mike, Clever!

I personally think this is crap!!!

Guy has so much sweat equity at SeaTac and the series could give a shit about him or his efforts. i bet the next revelation will be the Pooled Combo of Tac and Lamewood. Then they can get Guy to prep the course for them too.

Seatac is my favorite course still to this date! It challenges every aspect of my game. I nearly won the advance division last year, but lost it due to a poor performance in the final 9, along with the 2 meter rule in effect, and Chris Gilberts just kicking my ass and draining a 50 foot jump putt to prevent a playoff on the last hole in the final 9 (hole 7). I wish you luck again this year buddy.

As for me, I will be playing open this year, and you better believe, I've been putting my practice in! I can't wait for this event. Become a better player, play Seatac. JetWash!!

Kenny
