Well I'm back from .

Stu has been sent the info... look to see standings here ( http://www.aracnet.com/~stuart/teamgolf.htm ) next couple of days. Thank you Stu!! I owe you a when you come out.

I just have to thank everyone coming out and supporting The Dabney Dubz! We broke the 100 mark...116 players have come out and played at least once in "The Dubz"!!! You guys !!!

First ace for "The Dubz" this year...a cool $277 Congrats to Crist Garcia !! Crist hit the ACE on hole 8 (right position) he threw a Crow.

Hope to see you guys out this Saturday for the work party (10am) to make Dabney a better place to play.

Kevin

Stats are up on Stu's web site... http://www.aracnet.com/~stuart/teamgolf.htm

We did a lot of work with the five people that showed up on Saturday for the work party...Keith, Lance, Greg MacKight, The Brit and myself. We moved bastets, fixed collars/replaced collars and spread chips out on walk to 7 tee pad.

Basket locations.
1 (right)
2 (left over the hill)
3 (in the field)
4 (left with a new placement - high grass for now - SPOTTERS!)
5 (still deep - stupid lock)
6 (right)
7 (right)
8 (new placement - between a-b behind the tree line...basically the walk out area from the long placement) Crist hit the ace at the right time...not this week!
9 (right)
10 (left)
11 (long)
12 (who cares)
13 (right)
14 (long - right)
15 (long - left)
16 (still long - stupid lock)
17 (same - snag next to tee pad GONE!)
18 (same)

See you Thursday!

Kevin

#17? Snag? 6-8 foot stump on left front of pad? Did The Brit lean on it?

Thanks for the work you five.

BTW- How many years does Kevin have to run a weekly event to get his thread stickied? I guess the folks at Orchard have friends in the web.

Thinking about popping my doubles cherry tonight, but I'm worried I might not make it by 530. Advice?

Leave earlier.

It seems Mr. Madrid is busy at work but...

I think last week saw the biggest turnout at DD ever. 76 players! And that was without the Pier crew trying to come in and take the ace pot like two weeks ago. Maybe it was the weather.

As opposed coming on here just to whine about it, the guys at Orchard actually asked someone to sticky their thread and it got done.. .

Funny how that works.

Touchy today Jeff?
I was making a lighthearted observation.
Whining? Really?
If a moderator feels the quoted sentence was disrespectful in any way I apologize.
I didn't realize anyone could find offense in such a seemingly innocent comment.
Funny how that works.

There is no requisite number of years to have an event stickied. If Kevin would like to have the DD thread stickied, all he has to do is ask.

Your comment seems to imply that preferential treatment is being given to other events. I assure you that is not the case.

Not what I meant. There was NO attempt to imply a sinister plot. R_E_A_L_L_Y.

If it wasn't for you (Scott), Adam & the rest of the NWDGN crew, DGers would be without one of the best resources out there.
I had assumed the mods understood my skewed sense of humor by now. Sorry for the error.
I'm still considering options to help readers understand whether a given post by me is meant to be funny or if I'm trying to be an annoying ass.

At the moment I'm only troubled by whether Kevin was annoyed by my statement. I love DD and have a great amount of respect for Kevin's efforts over the years. I'm sorry Kevin if my comment in jest reflected poorly on you or DD in any way.

Is everyone OK now?

Yeah, I stickied it as soon as I knew it needed to be done.

Man... a lot of bitchiness going on. Someone catch something nasty from one of the 76 attendees? I definitely heard something nasty was running around that night...
