Default 2010 Milo Work Parties

I will be scheduling work parties about once or twice a month up until the BSF, which takes place at the end of May. We have much needed work to continue to improve and develop Milo McIver's Riverbend course "Gems" of disc golf!

Please show your support by volunteering!!

Also, I encourage all to help out at the installation of "Stub Stewart S.P." course that Mike Phillips is heading up. You will not be disappointed!!!

Course development only happens with the support of disc golfers. If you haven't participated in a work party, I encourage you to experience the grass roots effort!!

Typically we do organized work parties on the weekends. This is when most folks are available. If anything changes I will post it here.

Thanks

I haven't been out to Milo forever. I heard the baskets had been taken out. When are they going back in, if not already? I'm down for the next work party.

Poop team golf that day for us, but I am sure there will be one in the future the McMahan's will be able to attend.

Work Party this weekend...Sat. the 13th

Where: Meet at Milo's Ranger Station
When: 10am
What to Bring: water, work gloves, rain gear

To Do's: Tree limb clean-up on fairways, garbage pick-up, removal of blackberry bushes

Maybe even put a few baskets in...a good turnout might help get them in sooner than later!

Hope to see you there!

If it wasn't my turn to play Team Golf on Saturday, I'd be there. Hope I can make the next one.

Speaking for me, I can say it was sweet sweet revenge.

I'll never bleed on those holes again.

At least literally.

How long do they usually last? I think I can talk a few friends into going as long as we have time to play some golf.

Just depends really. We were about to call it quits at about 2 last week before we decided to just keep working. Mike and I still got 12 holes in or so before we had to leave at 5 because the park was closing.
