As for mighty Sam, he will be playing lefthanded due to recent rotator cuff surgery on his normal throwing hand.

I talked with Jason and I'm not really of the mind set to force anyone to play Pro so I said OK to playing Advanced.

John Bain MA2 - is the mostly casual player and part time bar tender at Squirrels.

Greg
Thanks Greg - just some friendly ribbing. It all makes sense now. There really ARE two John Bains. Sam is brave to play offhanded in ANY division. And Jason.....well....Jason - you're a BAGGER!

WDGC,

Have you guys considered going to concrete tee pads at Adair? Its only been like 5 years or more since the course went in. I think the pads are nice but they are definitely showing their age!

Considered yes, but not permitted due to hypothetical master plan for the park. We have reconstructed 3 with new frames and treated plywood deck. Check out holes 5, 12, and 13. We will replace more in the next year.

Now back to thread topic!

This is the 9th year for Festivus kicked off by the first tournament in January 2002 when we had just installed the first 10 permanent baskets, I think we had the Fly 18 pads in year 3 when the course got expanded to through the woods to 18 holes.

Hey we are down to a 50% chance of rain Saturday and 40% tomorrow. That's an improvement over a couple of days ago KC the weatherman's forecast appears accurate once again.

are sweet, etched Calapooia mugs and glasses with Umbrella logo, division and place. Thanks Mark & Laura for the glassware donation.

Default Thank You Greg and Helpers

My home computer was not being very nice to me and I was surprised when I got to work this morning that no thanks had been giving out. Thanks Greg for another great event. Especially what you get for your entry fee. Great job Jesse G. even after my gift of playing the changed hole wrong. Thanks again Greg. Can I sign up for next year yet ? My wife and kid say to thank you as well.

Same here. Thanks. It was my first Festivus and hopefully not my last. The extra holes were a ton of fun. The Willamette Club rocks!

Yeah... Colin is a great golfer and I'm glad he got the win...

The course was way fun... They had a new feature that I would recommend to other non-sanctioned events... on three holes they had multiple basket placements that they allowed us to play to... you could choose... a neat wrinkle.

Hath this whole world been mired in madness?
Remain ye men of faculty complete,
Of full arithmetic and prudence fair,
Attending to our noble bond and contract?
Or does here stand the last remaining man
To give a fig for rules and order yet,
No noble savage, but a stave unbroken
Who loves the law and bids it no misdeed.
I’ll not be bent to lawlessness. Mark it nought, if we be men of honour.
