Default The university of oregon disc golf club “3 disc challenge” disc golf tournament - December 6th

Sunday, Dec 6th 2009
WHERE: THE UNIVERSITY OF OREGON CAMPUS
(MEET AT EMU AMPHITHEATRE)
TIME: REGISTRATION @ 8:00 a.m., ROUND 1 @ 9:00 a.m.

We are planning on playing three rounds of 12 holes on the campus course using only 3 discs the whole tournament. We will provide coffee before the first round then play a second, followed by lunch and then the final round.
There will be an awards ceremony after the final round.
Cost: $15 Recreational/$20 Competitive

The Recreational division is intended for beginners with limited to no experience. The Competitive division is for those who have played and want to compete to test their skills on the course. This tournament is open to the public, but all students will receive a $5 discount with a current UO Student ID. Women receive $5 off, and Women who are students get 10$ off with current UO ID! There will be prizes for both divisions! All tournament proceeds will go to the University of Oregon Disc Golf Club and will be used towards travel expenses during the 2009-2010 season. The team took 8th place at the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships last year and we hope to get back there this year and improve, but we cannot do it without your support. So come play in the campus tournament, and help support a good cause!
See you on the course, GO DUCKS!
Contact ralvarad@uoregon.edu with any questions.

SHOUT OUT FOR BASKETS...

Cody called me last night to see how many baskets we would have with us...

The DGO camp is bringing 1 - mach2, 1 - discatcher pro, 1 - Tirnanog White, 1 - Chainstar.

We also have access to 2 single chain discatchers as well.

Anyone else planning on showing up, and can you bring some good chains out with you?

Thanks.

I guess that was a preemptive "so how did it go".

it was fun. but then again, it's always fun. there's nothing like throwing plastic along the corridors of a major university even if the longest hole is only 300+ft.
thanks for running it and good luck at nationals...

my discs of choice:

175 glow tee bird
180 kc pro roc
175 jk pro aviar
