Talking Frosty Ironman One Disc Challenge at Cascade Gateway 13 December

Capital City Disc Golf will be holding the "Frosty Ironman One Disc Challenge" at Cascade Gateway on 13 December.

Sign up starts at 8:00 a.m.
Tee off is 8:30a.m.

This will be the first of an annual event. The winner gets a trophy and the winner is invited to come back next year to defend their title as the "Frosty Ironman."

Rules: All players are allowed to play with one disc and a mini.
2 rounds will be played. After the 1st round you will be allowed to change to a different disc.
Every throw is thrown with your one chosen disc. No changing of discs in the middle of a round, unless a disc is declared lost and appropriate penalties applied.

Fees: $10 entry fee that includes the ace pot.
Payout: The top 50% will be paid.

Mini discs are required to be used. We will have a limited number available for players to use. If you have extra mini discs at home we would appreciate if you brought some to loan to your buddies to ensure there is enough to go around.

Thumbs up Divisions @ Frosty Ironman

We will try to have three divisions:Masters, Amateurs, and Pro. Trophy's to go to the Masters and Pros. This of course is all dependent on the turnout.

Age... 39/40 plus is considered Masters I believe,
then there's Grandmasters (senior discount at I-Hop and Mandos) etc....

We will be selling Capital City Bag Tags for 2010 on Sunday.

The weather should be appropriate. We need snow to make a Snowman! It will defiantly be frosty.
Bring your favorite disc and have some fun.

"Frosty Ironman One Disc Challenge" is done.

We had icy roads, the lake was 90% frozen over, and it snowed at the beginning is the first round.

Everyone learned that we hate putting with drivers!

Swami had the best score. He also walked away with the CCDG #1 bagtag for 2010. It was a great for him, he deserves it, it was his birthday also!
