AND due to a shortage in Masters players, able to make the trip, WE have picked up Papa Jenkins as well......
Val is going to be the 1st Woman to play in an OPEN spot...she's playing #6 for Santa Cruz.

All Team rosters can be found HERE.......

http://morleyfield.com/2009/11/29/you-dont-want-to-miss-this/

We play Teams in the following order..

Santa Cruz
Oak Grove
Arizona
San Diego
Huntington Beach
Redwood Empire
Sylmar

After Head to Head play...Best 2 Records meet in a Final Match to determine overall Champion.

Well if Rob calls you on his cell phone it says "Portland" in the caller ID...

AND due to the last minute need for a Master that could....
1) spend the $400 on airfare
2) take the time off work to make the trip..

We got a "waiver" to use Leroy...

And Coates, Miller...balh, blah, blah, etc, etc.
The main issue is getting the individuals to commit to an event where there is little to no money to be won....In the past the Winning Team recieved $200 per player...Thats after a $75 entry fee AND travel & lodging expenses.
This year the money had been bumped to $300 BUT then you still have to win to get it..............and with the strength of the Teams in attendance...It is NOT the easiest thing to do.
Some of our Team is already there...others will be arriving tomorrow and friday Morn.

We will do our best to take down the 2 or 3 Teams that give us a challenge.

AND bring home the Trophy........
