Default Sisters - Oct 24 & 25

The Rebels will be having a Work Party (No Discs Allowed) in Sisters on Oct 24 & 25.

We are adding ten new teepads, improving four existing tees, shifting a few basket locations, etc. We've rented heavy equipment and invested over $2,000 to make these improvements. Many hands are needed to complete these tasks. Bring a smile and some gloves. Rain or shine.

Info here...

There will be NEW Alt pads.......we have discussed the concrete, but I dont think we will go there just yet.

We purchased 14 new rubber mats that we used at Lava Launch this year..those will be used to replace some that are ripped AND place some new ones as well.

Concrete IS in the future, but I am not sure when.

Once it happens we will use the existing mats for ANOTHER course.

Do you have something specific in mind, or just planning for the future?

My confusion, sorry!

Is that the Team Disc Golf weekend? I guess it does not really effect your area but I have been trying to schedule my work parties on different weekends in the hopes of getting more people to show up.

The new tee pads and pin positions at hyzer pines are looking sweet. There is some added length and some new looks on the back 9. Also, a lot of the existing holes got some well needed maintenance around the fairways and greens.

Whew...What a day.

Hyzer Pines just got quite a bit harder.....with the addition of Long Tees on Holes 8,9,13,15 & 17. Tees were re-built on multiple holes. New Benches were installed on 9 holes. And with the removal of ALOT of debris from fairways and some tree trimming....a pile around 20' tall & 60' in diameter was created...for future disposal.

Much thanks to MULTIPLE Rebel members for showing up to help with effort.

Tomorrow Rebel leader Ryan Lane will be continuing the effort with MORE Long Tees, More benches, New pin placements and MORE debris clearing.

Hyzer Pines is looking SWEET...........

Winter League starts Nov 8th and continues MOST Sundays at 12 noon, with a "few" days off here and there.
Schedule to follow at www.centraloregondiscgolf.com

Signs are not installed yet.....They are easy to find though.
MOST have defined walkouts from the previous hole or can be seen from original tees with a small amount of effort.

We will be doing the GPS as soon as we finish this phase of improvments so that the current course maps etc can be updated.
