I TOLD you that you were playing lights out! 107 ratings points over your rating! That's Pro Bagger level play right there. Did you change your name to Sean Helean?!?!

Nice job, Bob!!! You'll be paying for that over your next few matches. Or should we expect this kind of improvement every week?

I'm sure I will shoot myself in the foot in the first match that counts for something.

Default How about an average...

I came back Sunday and shot a worse round. Can you average it with the Saturday score if we played multiple rounds? My rating is way too high .ha ha

Every singles round that you play in TDG changes your rating. I will just average it with your previous rating.

I will, however, use an anti bagging technique: If your round rating is more than 50 points below your rating then your current rating gets doubled before adding it to your round rating and dividing by 3.

But this year should be a wild ride as I am not doing any other doubling (or trebling) of your existing rating before modifying it with your round rating. Tear it up and win big one week and you pay for it the next week with a higher rating...

Remember, the rating in the last column is just the ROUND rating that you shot in the morning Saturday. That will get averaged with your starting rating to get your rating going forward. If you shot another round on Saturday then THAT round rating will be averaged with your adjusted rating from after the morning round. And again for the morning Sunday round if you shot one, and again for the afternoon Sunday round you shot one...

933 isn't too shabby. Quite the improvment over my RCO rounds. What's the shocker to me is Shannon shooting an 894!
Way to go girl!

Afternoon Round Pier Park - SSA 52.35

Player Rating Score Round Rating
Lucas Dumont 902 60 927
Chris Schaich 850 61 917
Mike Gordon 916 62 908
Jason Sauermilch 898 63 898
Joel Jones 911 63 898
Kris Pine 850 64 889
David Zimmerman 845 65 879
Elliott Leuthold 866 67 860
Tassia Bronston 775 80 736

And now we see how not having many players can skew the ratings. In the morning round a 60 was rated 914. And the course SSA was a full stroke higher than the last 3 times we played the course.
In 07 the SSA was 51.25, 08 was 51.06 and the morning round was 51.21. But we do what we can.

Next on to Sundays scores!

I didn't play Saturday afternoon, I got a 69 for my Sunday morning round. Does that make a difference?
