Default Olympia Disc Golf in the NEWS

Check our local hero! 1000 rated, then this, what a day for the Chanman!

I don't know how to link it up, so maybe somebody could do that, But check out todays Olympian newspaper. Go to sports. Good article, good pictures.

He's in yesterday's Bend Bulletin, too: http://www.bendbulletin.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?...10353/0/NEWS01

The Olympian article has some of the usual poorly-researched oddities, though: "Mid-range discs are thinner than drivers, and they often will curve around obstacles."

I'll take that over some negative comment any day!

It also says that Im the "reigning washington state professional disc golf champion." I do not currently hold that title... But yeah, other than some odd facts, its pretty good.

Obviously, Grandma is the reigning WA state champ. 2 years running, if I'm not mistaken.

They misspelled Steady Ed's name "Headick". From what I hear about the guy, all contributions to the sport aside, that is an accurate inaccuracy.
