So if no one wants to travel more than once during the season that leaves Sirosis as the only out of town course. We owe it to Big Winds to play their course. What does that leave us then? Pier is the ONLY 18 hole course IN Portland. Nearby is Dabney, Timber, and Milo and still for many way out on the West side a good hour or more away. I really hate the thought of NOT playing Adair or Trojan as they both are fantastic courses for what we do. We COULD I guess play Hornings twice, once on the canyon course and again on the long azzzzzz new course? Maybe at the Captains meetings they can battle this one out. I will let MY captain know that I want to play ADAIR.

Now bring on some Team Golf dang it.

Bob

I could go without the drive to Adair but I don't think Trojan is too far. Eastsiders driving to Trojan is like Westsiders driving to Milo. Either way, I will go where I'm told, when I'm told, WITH a smile on my face... and ready to kick Bob's old butt!

We thought about playing CG last year but we couldn't remember if there is ANY structure to use as a shelter at that course. I don't think that there is anything but the course at that park right?

You are correct, there is no shelter. But.............I have a pop-up, I know Darr has one, Gawain has one, and most likely many others as well. I also have a 20x30 tarp that will convert my 10x10 into a 20x30. We can make shelter if we need it. CG might be a good change up from previous years.

Exclamation Proposed TDG Schedule

How about this schedule:

October 10-11 - Milo McIver (might support all in 1 day)
October 24-25 - Pier
November 7-8 - Sorosis
November 21-22 - Cascades Gateway
December 5-6 - Dabney (Hornings might support all in 1 day)
December 12-13 - Leverich
January 2-3 - Milo McIver
January 16-17 - Adair
February 13-14 - Timber
February 27-28 - Trojan

Let the debate commence!

I say Horning hideout we could all play there on one day plus the tee pads are being done this week. Also what about changing the date for Trojan in October before it gets real wet and muddy. I dont think Leverich would be a good choice because only 12 holes that would make for slow play plus the course has other user that will delay play. Adair has no concrete tee pads so if we have to play that course I would want to play it in October (Willamette is better).

Which is why the schedule is what it is in January/February...

oh no I should have used the emotion guys. I was JOKING about CG! We could play it but it's not that fun of a course. It's like Champoeg without the "technical difficulty"/scenery/bathrooms. If we need another course I guess it could be an option, but really there are better courses and Adair is only about 20 minutes from here if you were gonna drive all this way.

I agree with Keith here. Move Trojan to sooner in the schedule, add Hornings, keep Dabney, cut Leverich, cut Adair.

October 10-11 - Milo McIver (might support all in 1 day)
October 24-25 - Pier - Trojan
November 7-8 - Sorosis
November 21-22 - Cascades Gateway
December 5-6 - Dabney (Hornings might support all in 1 day) - Hornings
December 12-13 - Leverich - Dabney
January 2-3 - Milo McIver
January 16-17 - Adair - Hornings again? or we could keep Adair
February 13-14 - Timber
February 27-28 - Trojan - Pier

Wait... Leverich? I thought a requirement is that the course had to have 18 holes? Or are we just going to close the park down? And Cascades Gateway? I would rather play the course in Jeff Larson's back yard.

November 7-8 - Sorosis

December 12-13 - Leverich - Dabney
January 2-3 - Milo McIver
January 16-17 - Adair - Hornings again? or we could keep Adair - Keep Adair

February 27-28 - Trojan - Pier
