ok, i se how your math works now. thanks Sam. Regardless, the WO is gonna fill, leaving many no tourney to play that weekend, and since this thread is about Hab Rec, I hope to see both tourneys fill up.

I bet they both do.

Chris, in years past Hab/Rec has not been sanctioned. I do not believe it is this year, either, though NA is throwing a C-tier this weekend I am enjoying very much.

Well the flip-flop of WOXI this year has placed it on a weekend that I am unable to be out of town. Lucky for me that I will finally get to play the Hab/Rec tourney since it is only one day AND on Saturday.

Did anyone sign up for this online? Did you pay the $5 shipping charge? I sure won't, although I probably wasn't very nice to the webmaster about the whole deal...

What is the course layout 27, two 18 courses, or one 18 layout played twice? I have only played the course in BSF form.

Past few years it has been set up as two 18's just like the bsf.

To answer some questions:

Hab/Rec is non-sanctioned.

There is NOT a $5 shipping charge when you sign up online. Thanks to whomever brought that to the next adventure webmaster's attention.

The course layout is two 18-hole courses, east and west. Play one in the a.m. and the other in the p.m. The 36-hole tourney layout was first played at the 2nd annual Hab/Rec in 2003. The BSF began using the 36-hole layout in 2004. I designed the 36-hole tourney layout with significant help from others, and I've tweaked the design a bit over the years with help. 2 pin placements and 3 tee positions were added by the BSF folks to maximize the pro settings, and that's an ongoing process, but the configuration has remained largely unchanged for the past 3 years. Now I think it's set on an optimized configuration, with some room for more pins. Enjoy.

Wow you got some big names playing that one. I am glad to see the interest but sad to see that the guys I want to beat are not going to be at the Willamette Open this year. It might even give me a chance to cash in the crusties division. On second thought.............................. Have fun at the Rec crusties. see ya next year. Wish these weren't on the same weekend. I guess we have beaten that horse to death.

Pro divisions and Advanced Men division play from the pro tees. Everyone else plays from the am tees.

Im in, +1. Stopped in at NA to check out the big discounts (and register).

Any chance for an update on that reg list? Curious as to how deep the rec division is currently.
