Default ...winning by 84 strokes.

This article amuses me:

Gabriella Gray, 10, Claims World Disc Golf Title
posted August 8, 2009

Ten-year old Gabriella Gray of Chickamauga became the 2009
Junior Girls Under 13 Disc Golf World Champion at the PDGA
Disc Golf World Championships held last week in Kansas City.

Competing in the largest field of competitors in Professional
Disc Golf Association history, Gabriella dominated her division,
winning by 84 strokes.

She also made her mark in the field events, setting a new
World Distance Record for her age group with a disc throw of
84.36m (276.77').

Though she'll only be 11 years old when the next World
Championships come around in summer 2010, Gabriella plans to
move up into the Under 19 Division to face stronger competition.

Good thing she isn't on this forum..........she'd be called a BAGGER!

That's pretty amazing though for a 10 year old.

Well, she may have won by 84 strokes, but she still finished at +91 for 6 rounds.

On Worlds courses. Granted, the juniors played the easier courses. Still, an average of 15 over per 18 holes is not bad for a ten year old girl.

That's just not right. I weigh 3 times what she does and have pretty muscley arms and I can only throw 100 ft or o further than her. It's just not right.

You think that's bad, I only have 30-50 feet on her and I out weight her by four I bet.

Thank you for sharing this article! I'm so inspired...by a 10 year old!!

I think this proves you don't need manly, muscley arms to throw far (for your size), it seems like ladylike, delicate and bad-a** works just as well.

Makes me wish I hadn't shunned disc golf as a child because it was just something my weird hippy parents were into...
