Thanks for all the input, Mike and I will decide soon what we plan to do. Kent, not sure why you have those thoughts on TimberLinn, in its tournament layout its probably the best course in the valley, so we plan on using it. Maybe your division will not have to play it, maybe it will...

Chiming in: I LOVE the ORS layouts at Timber Linn. I prefer those layouts to the Waterloo or Bryant layouts. Also, my mind says 4 rounds, but my body says 3.

I, of course, prefer 3 rounds to 4 (my 866 rated 4th round REALLY killed me) and the Timber Linn tourney layout ROCKS!

I hope that you are playing the Eugene Celebration so we can battle again. Any tourney that I get to play rounds with you and Sandy Bagger is a fun time for me, even if I play like crap the 2nd day!

Did I mention recently how sweet the Advanced Master division is now? Hella good times to be had!
Thanks! I hope it doesn't go up too much as I was just thinking about how it fit in nicely with the rest of the Advanced Master's ratings.

We're talking about Advanced Masters here Rick, what your rating is doesn't matter, just your age. You are always welcome in this division, you just need to be strong enough to handle the calls of "Bagger"!

I find if I shout it louder than everybody else, I have a good time at least...

It would be nice to be able to play all 3 courses...BUT I would mind missing Willamette at all......I SUCK at that course.

Adair & Timber Lynn would be good enough for me.......

Is there a flyer anywhere for those already "qualified"? I realize that I should just send my check to Dion, but is there anything that needs to be known?

Actually, all that info should be out soon, but its more or less the same things from last year. We are still playing with the layouts and who gets to play what.

I don't understand. How are people signing up, if there is no flyer, and no online signup? And why are people who have NOT played in any qualifiers being allowed to sign up? I though the whole point of the qualifiers was that only people who play in them can register for WOXI BEFORE it opens to the general public.

i.e. I was unable to play in WOQ #1 and WOQ #2. I plan to play in WOQ #3, and to sign up for WOXI while at WOQ #3. But all I keep reading about is how many hundreds of people are already signed up for WOXI!

Am I or am I not guaranteed a shot at signing up for WOXI before all non-WOQ players by virtue of my signing up for WOQ #3?

I played in WOQ #2. I did not sign up at the event. My understanding is that you, by playing in a qualifier, can sign up before is opens for registration online. The catch is that you must pay before. In your situation, it seems that you will be fine. Sign up this weekend, pay and you'll be all set for WOXI. No need for panic...

I also gleaned from this thread (possibly incorrectly) that if you CAN'T make any of the Qualifiers then you should send in your entry with check asap to be first AFTER the qualifier's reserved time expires.
You know, that way snail mail can trump online...Score one for Yoseman!
But I have no knowledge of The Amity Gangsta's status as qualifier or not, so basically I'm just speakin out my arse on this one.

But that's just me readin and stuff. Do as you will.

Come on Bob! You remember when rubbing now-useless forefins was all it took...

Ooops, does roundabout mention of the theory of evolution qualify me for a week's banning, I wasn't paying attention in class that day...

The list of a hundred people is those who are pre qualified to sign up and pay for the WOXI. I am on that list and I was going to pay at the 3rd qualifier, howver I cant get my mother in law to baby sit, so I cant make it, so I did the next best thing, by sending in my check and divison and shirt size and color preference(Orange of Course... Stupid Ducks) with my ace pot fee and PDGA # and email address.
